Curriculum guides for grades K-2 and 3-5
This book has become a much needed tool for adults and children to start the conversation about the many issues of community and racial equity raised by Ferguson, Baltimore, Charleston and other current events around the country.
We offer curriculum guides for grades K-2 and 3-5. The guides were created by a local teacher who has seven years of teaching at the grade school level and has a Master's of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Plymouth State University.
These teacher’s guides can be used to help guide discussion and activities before, during and after the story. The guides also contain references to aligned Common Core State Standards for both literature and informational text standards.
